We’re looking for an experienced, Healthcare Reform Specialist to join our Longwood, Florida branch team.

Compliance & Healthcare Reform Specialist success factors include:

  • Responsible for IOA Benefits group Healthcare Reform compliance activities, including ACA expertise, research, analysis, reporting, webinars, updates and committee participation.
  • Provides leadership within the Benefits team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times.
  • Serves as healthcare reform/ACA subject matter expert for team, answering questions, providing support, and developing solutions to client problems.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of all federal regulations related to employee benefits plans, breaks them down into easily understandable formats, and teaches the information to all member of the IOA Benefits Team.
  • Effectively participates in client/prospect conference calls and meetings as requested by producers/advocates.
  • Evaluates internal strategic business solutions and proprietary program within the framework of the Affordable Care Act, and identifies and recommends improvements.
  • Maintains IOA Employee Benefits library of regulatory information.
  • Actively seeks to grow IOA business, including identifying and acting on sales opportunities.
  • Conducts healthcare reform update conference calls for the IOA Benefits Team.
  • Lives and champions IOA core values at all times, demonstrating the highest levels of personal character, integrity, and servant leadership.

 Qualified candidates will have:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in healthcare reform and compliance
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • PC proficiency, including MS Office
  • Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times
